How long are you going to wait?

Many years ago, I lived in a very different world. I was attending University in Moscow, living life in a big city where the main things that mattered were financial status and what you looked like.

I felt like I was living a double life. Secretly, I was longing to go back to nature and drop all this “theater of appearances.”

I deeply disliked who I was becoming in comparison to the happy “mountain” girl who still lived inside me.

At the same time, I was playing along with the environment I was in, becoming more egoistic, money-oriented, arrogant, and close-hearted every day.

The thing is, when there is a disconnect between your inner vision for your life and your outer reality, you get stuck. It’s like being in a waiting room.

You know you do not belong where you are but find yourself powerless to change anything.

So, you choose to wait for a wave to carry you out to some new grounds.

But the truth is – that wave may never come. It is up to us to rescue ourselves from the waiting room or to stay there and try to decorate it with all the “stuff ” we fill our lives with.

The happiness that you want, that you DESERVE, is already inside of you. You just have to listen to your heart and have the courage to pursue it. That is why I moved to Pacific North West. I finally listened to the “mountain girl” to honor my version of happiness.

Use the energy of the new year to get rid of the stuckness in your life. Shake it off, move and experiment as the New You!

Are you ready? Are you really ready to choose the NEW YOU this year and onward?

We all want positive change and transformation, but there are things that hold us back.

Do this short practice and give yourself leverage to make 2021 radically different and joyful.

A quote to reflect on:

“Thought crystallizes into habit and habit solidifies into circumstances.”
